  • Receptive and Expressive Language

    Therapy targets improving receptive language (understanding and comprehension) and expressive language (ability to communicate). Children may experience delays or disorders in either expressive or receptive language or have a mixed delay. Session activities may include play, arts and crafts, books, and functional or routine activities like mealtimes. Caregivers are expected to participate to enhance therapy outcomes.

  • Social Skills

    Treatment focuses on improving social and emotional skills and intelligence to positively impact relationships across settings. Sessions will help to develop empathy and perspective taking. Therapy may take place at home, in school, or within the community and may be individual or in small groups when available. Session may include curriculum and activities from:

  • Articulation

    Therapy targets speech clarity and intelligibility. Speech clarity may be due to an articulation or phonological disorder or childhood apraxia of speech. Treatment may utilize a variety of techniques including:

    • Oral Placement Therapy

    • Orofacial Myology

    • P.R.O.M.P.T Therapy

  • Feeding Therapy

    Treatment aims to reconstruct mealtime dynamics and the relationship with food to create a healthy, more adventurous eater. Any underlying issues that may be impacting feeding will be evaluated and addressed. Various feeding approaches and strategies will be utilized, tailored to each child. These may include:

    • Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS)

    • CAN-EAT Approach by Krisi Brackett

    • Responsive Feeding
